Reed Robert Heustis Jr

A member of the State Bar of California, Reed serves employers, insurance carriers, claims administrators, and homeowners as a Workers' Compensation Defense Attorney. As a former claims examiner for the largest comp carrier in California, and a responsive customer service representative for a reputable insurance group, along with a firm belief in commerce and free enterprise, Reed understands the importance of expeditious and effective handling of the diverse needs and expectations of businesses and the risk management industry.

In his spare time, Reed secures families and small businesses as an Independent Associate with Legal Shield (), providing affordable legal service plans; identity theft protection/restoration; and a business opportunity for the entrepreneurially inclined.

Reed earned his Juris Doctor in 1998 from San Diego's oldest legal academy, California Western School of Law; and his Bachelor of Arts in Political Science in 1993 from University of California at Irvine. In 2001, Reed graduated from the National Litigation Academy with a scholarship endowed by the Alliance Defense Fund (now Alliance Defending Freedom), a servant organization that defends religious freedom, the sanctity of life, marriage and the family.
