Raquel Alejandra Gonzalez Padron

Raquel Padron is a bilingual attorney in our High Point office. Hailing from Venezuela, she has firsthand experience of the challenges that come with relocating to a new country. She is passionate about using her legal expertise to help individuals like herself achieve a better life in the United States, using her Spanish-speaking skills and cultural background to serve others.

Raquel’s commitment to immigration law began during her time in law school, where she served as Co-Coordinator for the Wake Forest Migrant Detention Centers Pro Bono Project. Her work involved assisting asylum seekers detained in immigration facilities, and she even organized a visit to a detention center in Dilley, Texas.

Raquel earned her undergraduate degree summa cum laude from La Universidad del Zulia, majoring in Political Science, before achieving her J.D. magna cum laude from Wake Forest University School of Law, where she was inducted into the prestigious Order of the Coif. During her time in law school, Raquel excelled in her studies and also served as a published editorial staff member of the Wake Forest Law Review, Vice President of the Latino Law Student Association, and Secretary of the Immigration Law Society. Additionally, she worked as a teaching assistant for various classes.

Prior to joining Dummit Fradin, Raquel worked as a privacy attorney. In her free time, she enjoys exploring new recipes, reading fantasy books, and going on hikes with her dogs.
