Mrs. Batten earned her Bachelor of Arts degree from Stetson University and later earned her Juris Doctor, magna cum laude, from Stetson University College of Law.
As a law student, Mrs. Batten’s strong work ethic and commitment to excel was evident. Having attended on a full academic scholarship, she completed the Honors Program and graduated 8th in her class.
Mrs. Batten worked for the Department of Children and Families, Children’s Legal Services, fighting to protect the children of Florida. During her time at CLS, Mrs. Batten won every trial she tried and won every case that was appealed. She works with that same life-long commitment to go above and beyond her call of duty to help those in need.
