R. Eric Rubio

I met Eric while still incarcerated, and he visited me to ask me about the charges lodged against me by the State of Florida. I was discussing my case, and he recommended due to the sensitive nature of the charges: that it would be best discussed once I arranged bail. I told him that I did not know ...how much my bail would be. And, that I did not have a great deal of money on hand. He was able to have my bail reduced to an amount that was affordable, and I was able to get out and go keep my job. Once I was out, he set an appointment to discuss what I facing which was 5 years in prison. Of course, I was not happy, and I tried not to panic; but, it was serious. He after agreeing to take my case, told me not to worry; and that--he would work very hard to get the charges dropped. I had a court date regarding a restraining order, and he won that case so it was lifted. That was one less thing that I had to worry about. I was facing 5 years is prison “felony,” and after numerous appearances and negations: I was offered 12 months probation. He was not satisfied and wanted take it to trial. On the morning of trial: my charges were dismissed. He also represented me in my divorce. SURPRISE! SURPRISE!: my (soon to be) ex-wife showed up in court pregnant with some other dudes child. I did not have to show up and he took care of the whole thing. I would say that Mr. Rubio is an excellent attorney. He really took the time to understand how screwed up my circumstances were, and he tried his best to fix it. I just thanked him for the emotional butt kicking that I avoided. I did not have to show up for the final hearing to get divorced. I had to see neither her sorry pregnant having a baby with someone else a_s.—nor her foreign out of Africa non U.S. citizen probably needing a green card baby daddy and the judge going “Are you serious.” He was always available by phone or in person for me, and his price was spot on. I did not have to sell everything I owned to get great legal representation so that it my opinion.
