I suggest that you do not retain this lawyer for a “cut & dry” divorce that was not supposed to become contentious until she got retained unless you are fine w/ your soon to be ex spending more than 20k to try & scandalize your name, continue to tear your family apart, litter the file w/ frivolous mo...tions & allow her to continue to drag the case on & on, like mine. Instead of working collectively to move the case to resolution. As the Plaintiff w/ health issues that fell & had surgery vs. the husband that has 2 jobs & a pension. She had the nerve to imply that it’s no big deal that I’m injured. Get another job outside the home and still care for the children. Wow!! So, working in the home even though I had surgery raising children is not a job?!?! So, having MS, carpal tunnel and trying to recover from having surgery is no big deal?!?! Hmmmm
