Exceptional Representation

Mr. Overhauser (Paul) represented my commercial real estate firm when it was sued by a copyright troll. During the 3-years of litigation, I was never left wondering what was going on with my case. Paul kept me informed, yet, insulated from the day-to-day minutia of the case, which if i had been exp...osed, could have put a tremendous drag on my business. During the trial in Federal Court, it became very clear why I hired Mr. Overhauser. Although the plaintiff's legal team included the copyright troll himself, a retired class-action attorney, and an experienced plaintiff's attorney, Paul applied superior intellect, planning and strategy to systematically take apart the plaintiff's case during the 2-day trial, which was confirmed by the jury's delivering a "not guilty" decision after just 15-minutes of deliberations. I consider myself very fortunate to have engaged such a competent and experienced attorney.

Excellent and knowledgeable

Working through our first patent project with Paul Overhauser was easier than we could have ever imagined. Paul’s knowledge and experience in the process removed our concerns. He has provided rich insights and education for us, as well as an honest and fair price structure. We would highly recommend ...Paul without recourse, and look forward to working with him again on our next project.

Relationship: Worked together on matter

"Mr. Overhauser is an exceptional attorney. He has a natural strategic sensibility in the context of litigation that allows him to not only solve the problems at hand but to understand how any given move or counter-move will impact ultimate decisions on motions, or at trial. Some lawyers pride themselves on fighting each and every issue to the death as if it were a matter of ego and pride. Overhauser understands that litigation is a chess game where one needs to see multiple moves ahead and where ego can often cloud one's better judgment. I have no reservations in saying that Mr. Overhauser is star lawyer for complex business and intellectual property matters."
