Patrick Aloysius Withers

Patrick A. Withers is a litigation associate with Reilly Pozner LLP.

Patrick focuses his practice on complex civil litigation. Before entering private practice, he served as law clerk to the Hon. John R. Webb of the Colorado Court of Appeals. In this capacity, he gained valuable research and writing experience as well as exposure to diverse areas of civil and criminal litigation.

Patrick earned his law degree from Harvard Law School, where he was editor of the Harvard Journal on Legislation and executive editor of the Harvard Latino Law Review. He helped organize the Harvard Latino Law and Policy Conference and served in a leadership role in the law student division of the Hispanic National Bar Association.

Patrick’s note, “Pouring New Wine into Old Wineskins: The Guaranty Clause and a Federalist Jurisprudence of Voting Rights,” appeared in the Georgetown Journal of Law and Public Policy.

He has a special interest in all aspects of negligence law and appellate law.

Patrick holds dual undergraduate degrees in economics and political science, both with highest honors, from Gonzaga University. While there, he was on the leadership team of the Program for International Education and Relief and a founding member and secretary of the Gonzaga Multicultural Honor Society. He spent a term at New College, Oxford University, studying macroeconomics and political theory.
