Patrick James Kelly

Pat was born in Syracuse, New York. He was admitted to the Texas State Bar in 2005 and is also a member of the State of New York Bar and the Commonwealth of Massachusetts Bar. His preparatory education was at LeMoyne College where he earned a Bachelors of Science degree in Business Administration. After earning his undergraduate degree, he was employed as a NASD Series 7 licensed Securities Broker. Pat attended the Syracuse University College of Law, earning his Doctor of Jurisprudence degree in 1991. At the Syracuse College of Law, he was an Associate Editor on the Syracuse Law Review and interned as a Law Clerk for a New York State Supreme Judge.

Prior to joining Goranson Bain, Pat was a Solo Practitioner in Texas and New York, focusing in the area of family law and civil litigation. He was the recipient of the 2001 Honorable Michael F. Dillon Law Guardian Award and in 2002 was a nominee for the Howard A. Levine Award, recognizing his work representing and advocating on behalf of children before the New York State Family Courts.
