I'm a committed advocate, and love taking on big companies on behalf of workers and injured indiviudals. Through my work, I believe that our community gets safer and workplaces are more fair. I'm originally from southwestern Virginia. Academics has taken me a number of places, finishing in New York City at Columbia University School of Law. I lived in NYC for 12 years and began my legal career there. In 2011, the beauty and warmth of Arizona called me. I've since gained admission to our neighboring state of California, so that I can serve as many people as possible. I love learning new things, and I'm constantly reading and discovering new things, from ways to cook eggplant to why I should drink white tea. I keep my trial skills sharp by collaborating with lawyers all over the country. I'm proud of the US justice system, and how it gives everyone an opportunity to be heard in a court of law.

Horrible experience! Very Rude !!!!!
This woman was extremely rude and unprofessional Run run run a lot of wasted time constantly putting me off and promising one thing doing another texting instead of a professional call showing up at my home unannounced !!! Not the time frame of day or time she said she would poor communication horr...
Catherine received a free 1 hour consultation from me. At the consultation, I advised that I had to review her documents and research her case further, before I would be able to commit to representing her on a contingency basis. That work took some time. I asked Catherine to provide some additional information, and it became apparent that we would not work together well, so I declined the representation. At no point did I call her names or fail to communicate what was happening w respect to my decision-making process in her case. After declining the representation, I offered to return her belongings to her home. She did not respond to that communication. Previously she misrepresented the nature of her residence, and it was not secure for me to leave the items there when I attempted to do so. After that attempt, around 7 pm she communicated with me for the first time since I declined the representation, and asked that I leave the items for her to pick up at my office. The next day I did so, as she requested, and I let her know this by email and text. I communicate with clients and potential clients by telephone, email and text messages, as long as the communications protect client confidences. Catherine was promptly informed that she could retrieve her documents. She tried to make a bar complaint (it was dismissed as groundless) and threatened to call the police because she was disappointed that I did not give her the attention she wanted. However, there is nothing that I did that was incorrect, unethical or misleading. Moreover, I believe that my conduct has at all times been professional and respectful, even though she has been very expressive with her fury. Catherine and I simply were not a good match and I repeatedly communicated another place Catherine could look for an attorney. I wish her well, but sadly in her last text to me, she called he a "B !!!!" and said that there was a "a nice place for people like [me] in hll". I believe that I made the right choice in allowing Catherine to seek another lawyer. Please take all these details into consideration.

Exceptional Attorney
I have co-counseled with Patricia. I have referred clients to Patricia. I have watched her in trial. She is a superb attorney. Incredibly smart, detailed oriented, very knowledgeable and practical. She is ferocious like a tiger in her representation of her clients.

Very Honest and Specific
Patricia did a phone consultation regarding a potential case I felt I may have had. She was to the point, matter of fact and intelligently gave me her professional advice. She did not beat around the bush and was very knowledgeable about her field. I ended not having a case as she helped me understan...

Rude woman!
This woman is horribly rude! I reached out to be represented by her (I was referred to her), and she blatantly ignored me. Extremely unprofessional. When she finally responded to me questioning why she was ignoring me her email responses were rude and unprofessional.
As this is an anonymous review, I cannot be confident who left it or the events which it purports to describe. I have reviewed all recent correspondence with all individuals who reached out in the past two weeks. None of them sought a legal consultation. Based on my records, I responded to all emails I received during that period which sought my services as an attorney. Other than a reasonable delay in response to some correspondence, I found nothing in any of my emails that was rude or unprofessional. I was clear in all my statements, ensuring that none of those who wrote to me to inquire about the possibility of legal representation could be confused about whether we had an attorney-client relationship. I was not sarcastic, angry, demeaning, or disingenuous in any message. I regret that the above individual was frustrated in communicating with me, but it is apparent from the review that we would not have been a good fit as attorney and client. I wish this individual well. To provide possible additional context to this review: I maintain a website whereby individuals may contact me with inquiries about possible representation. As my website states, such inquiries are not promises of representation, and merely reaching out to me with such an inquiry does not create an attorney-client relationship or any obligation on my part. When I am able to determine a case has merit, and my firm has the capacity to accept new clients, I do so. From time to time, I am in court, occupied with other cases, and take personal leave. While I endeavor to promptly respond to all emails, sometimes there is a delay. I do not delegate to anyone else the responsibility for responding to emails addressed to me. Moreover, I personally review all cases and speak to all potential clients before my firm takes any new case.
"Patricia is an excellent trial lawyer. She is a diligent advocate and I would recommend her to anyone in need of an attorney!"
