Ornela Y. Deseta

Ornela Deseta earned a J.D. from Thomas Jefferson School of Law located in San Diego, California. She earned her B.A. in Psychology from The University of Texas at Austin. 

Prior to beginning her legal career, Ms. Deseta worked for a small Austin law firm that focused on immigration and family law. During her time there her passion for the legal field grew which led her to pursue law school and become an attorney. 

While Ms. Deseta was in law school she held several internships. She was a certified legal intern for the San Diego Public Defender's Office. She was responsible defending those accused and ensuring their rights were not infringed upon. In addition, she worked as an intern for the San Diego Lawyer Volunteer Program helping victims file restraining orders. 

She is fluent in both Spanish and Portuguese.
