Although you don't need an infoPass appointment, nor stamp ... i do NOT recommend international travel to India at this time.
Is it okay if the IO did not ask for our photos? And my name was not in 2019 tax since I don’t have my ssn yet at that time?

Normally, I would say "no problem". But, with this pandemic ... I wouldn't recommend travel.

You need an attorney to do a CSPA analysis.
This could be a bit complicated ... don't try to work things out without an attorney.

When a person is in the US, the I-94 ... NOT THE VISA STICKER, controls.
Go ahead and file ONE I-539 to extend your I94.
