Olivia Anne Myers

Born and raised in Akron, Ohio, Attorney Olivia A. Myers practices an assertive and dynamic brand of criminal defense, DUI/OVI, and Juvenile Law/Family Law in Summit County, Portage County and surrounding areas.
When it comes to DUI/OVI cases, hands-on experience and broad-based expertise make all the difference. Attorney Myers understands the reality of what her clients are facing and deals with everyone in a caring, compassionate and approachable manner. She has made it her mission to act on the behalf of those who have been arrested and charged with driving under the influence, specifically in the areas of Motions to Suppress, filing Motions for Discovery and Inspection, Bills of Particulars, Exculpating Information, Motions to Dismiss and jury trials. Additionally, she has extensive experience in arguing Motions to Suppress when dealing with lack of probable cause to stop an offender, improper administration of field sobriety tests, and failure to adhere to the National Highway Safety Standards.

Attorney Olivia Myers' educational credentials include a Bachelor’s in Criminal Justice, and a minor in Paralegal Studies from the University of Cincinnati, and a law degree from the University of Akron School of Law.

Attorney Myers has fully immersed herself in every aspect of the criminal defense system. She began her career in criminal defense law by becoming involved in various legal clinics at the University of Akron, as well as visiting inmates weekly at the Summit County jail to provide them with legal research.

During her third year of law school, she prosecuted juvenile delinquency cases as a certified legal intern. She also represented indigent clients charged with misdemeanors as a certified legal intern for the Portage County Public Defender.

Olivia Myers fiercely represents clients in criminal, traffic and domestic disputes. She is active in the defense of Ohio OVI/DUI cases throughout Northeast Ohio. She has developed the skills of a trial attorney litigating cases in state court.
Attorney Myers is a member of the National College for DUI Defense, and the Ohio Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers. She trained as a trial attorney by attending the National Defender Training Project’s 2019 Trial Advocacy Program.
