Olayinka Luqman Hamza

Olayinka Hamza is a litigation associate with Reilly Pozner LLP.  Hamza focuses his practice on complex civil litigation. Prior to joining Reilly Pozner, he was accepted as an associate in the New York office of a global law firm. He was also a summer associate at this firm.

After graduating from law school, Hamza gained valuable litigation experience while working as a special assistant corporation counsel for the New York City Law Department as well as serving as a legal fellow with the American Civil Liberties Union of Eastern Missouri. As a result, he decided to begin his career at a firm focused exclusively on high-level trial litigation. He chose Reilly Pozner.

Hamza earned his law degree from Washington University School of Law in St. Louis, where he was a scholarship student and senior editor of the Washington University Jurisprudence Review. In his first semester, he was awarded the CALI "excellence for the future" award in contracts. He was also a member of the trial team and was named "most outstanding defense litigator" in the 2009 Stanford Law School trial competition.

Hamza holds an undergraduate degree in political science, with honors, from the University of North Carolina at Charlotte. He worked his way through college as a full-time meter reader for Charlotte-Mecklenburg Utilities.
