Very rude not responsive

I have appointed this attorney for a Accident in a result I was received a ticket, the matter is being held in Toms River Municipal Court at around September, 2012 I also paid in full for this case. He postponed the court date until December 2012. During our brief discussion over the matter before p...aying him I brought to his attention that I lived about 300 miles away, was there anyway he could show up to court with out me to either get the ticket reduced, or dismissed? He stated yes he could go to court without me and that he will try his best to get the ticket either dismissed or reduced to a no point ticket. Mind you this is 2 months ago with no follow up no phone call about the matter it's already the coming end of November my court date is set for December. I called MR. Cunningham's office his Secretary answers the phone with a very rude attitude stating that I need to leave a message for him to get back to me when he is convenient to do so. 3 days has passed with no phone call until today. I reached back out to MR. Cunningham after he left me a message. While discussing the matter or trying to get knowledge about the matter to better familiarize myself with what could happen. I asked him a series of questions, my first question was what can he get the ticket reduced too? he blatantly stated he does not know until the matter is brought before the court (Prosecutor). I stated ok no problem, I also asked him can he get the ticket dismissed if the person does not show up to court? His first reaction was that he cannot do that I stated why? He stated he would rather get the ticket reduced and call it a day. I stated it would not hurt for you to at least try to get the ticket dismissed if the individual does not show up? At this point MR. Cunningham raised his voice at me by telling me how I am not the lawyer that it his job do not tell him how to do his job. I took a step back for a second to recollect my thoughts and see if I said something that could offend him. I did not say anything obscured or disrespectful towards him to catch a attitude with me especially when I am his client I already paid you in full for the matter. I also had to remind him about me not going to court that he was going to show up without me for this mater, he stated that we never discussed this? I stated before I even paid you we discussed this matter what are you talking about? At this point I stated I wanted a change of venue I do not feel comfortable with him representing on this case any longer I want my money back (refund) he then went on yelling on the phone how I was rude and that people around his area do not act like people around my area. What is he racial profiling through a phone conversation? He never met me in person how dare he speak to me in that tone of voice, and also trying to downgrade me at the same time. At this point I hung up on him. I called the courts, and notified them about what has occurred I also went ahead, and hired another attorney I will be waiting for my refund this week.

"Mr. Cunningham is the definition of class. He holds an unrivaled reputation in the field amongst colleagues and judges earned through years of trials resulting in legal feats - considered borderline legendary - through ruthless and brilliant litigation. Yet he has a leveled, polite, friendly and respectful demeanor, with a kind heart and a warm handshake. He is the legal definition of walking softly but carrying a big stick. I am proud and humbled to be his colleague."
