I had the same experience as the reviewer who stated: “ Terrible human being with 0 understanding of professionalism. If I could give 0 stars for Ms. Sheera French, Esq after how she just spoke to me, I would. I am a client and human being after all, I do not expect to be repeatedly belittled and ...disrespected by this law firm needlessly. These people lack any level of basic professionalism or courtesy. And Ms. French certainly has a superiority complex, the way she just talked down to me without good reason. When people go to a law firm for help, they are already in a bad way. Way to kick people when they are already down. 0 compassion. 0 courtesy. 0 professionalism.”. In my case Sheera took a case she had little desire to manage in an area she admitting having no experience in, complaining about the work. She was very protective about her off time & would leave the office early, insisting on not being contacted after that time. I sometimes wondered if she ever wanted to be contacted about the case even when she was in the office. This led to some last minute hustling to correct errors & oversights. Even with this work on my part she still made surprising filing errors like filing the wrong draft with the court. When her errors & oversights were politely pointed out, she would become inappropriately belligerent, livid, blaming me, & not owning up to them. Avoid if you want a committed advocate on your side & most importantly being treated with respect & dignity as a client. A lawyer who takes a case out of her specialty & experience, then complains about the work, berates her client, makes errors, and gets angry & flustered when the errors are pointed out should consider taking a refresher course in ethics & professionalism. Hopefully whoever reads this will do better & find an advocate to respectfully & zealously represent them. Just my humble opinion.
