Empty promises

Months ago, I hired Kenneth to handle an attorney malpractice case involving a botched Veterans Administration claim for survivor benefits. He was willing to do this on a contingency basis rather than hourly. The VA attorney's filing errors had cost me $70k+ benefits for my mom's nursing care. Althou...gh it was a relatively small claim compared to Kenneth's typical caseload, he expressed empathy for my family's financial loss and said he wanted to handle the case. He asked to review my files and concluded that attorney malpractice had occurred. He then told me that the next step was for him to reach out to this attorney to put him on notice of the impending lawsuit, to contact his liability insurer, etc. When weeks went by and I didn't hear from him, I contacted him. Kenneth said he had been on vacation, then a personal emergency, but repeated his promise to initiate contact with the attorney in question. In the past 3 weeks, I've tried to contact Kenneth by email and phone- absolutely no response. To the best of my knowledge, he has taken no steps in my case. Very disappointing.

Great acomplishement!

I was represented by Kenneth Thyne an attorney associated with the law firm Roper & Twardowsky on a case against Prudential Financial. I was well advised and informed during the litigation process all the way to my deposition which lasted over twelve hours in two different days. Mr. Thyne showed exce...lent ethical behaviour, professionalism and top noch knowledge of the entire llegal spectrum. The case ended with a satisfactory settlement based upon my personal expectations.

This means the attorney did something wrong, but the Bar did not suspend the lawyer. Typically in this case the lawyer's poor behavior is exposed to the public in hopes that he or she will not repeat the behavior.
