I am an experienced attorney in the area of special needs law for the past 15 years. I am the mother of a severely autistic 18 year old son, Aidan, who is completely non-verbal, cannot take care of himself independently and requires 24 hour care. Aidan also suffers from epilepsy, DiGeorge Syndrome, bipolar depression, severe verbal and global apraxia, severe sensory integration disorder, and OCD. I understand what you are going through because I live it too.
