I thought this might be the answer to my problem. A Sandy contractor bailed half way through the project and kept insurance money of thirty thousand dollars. I should have never selected a corporate lawyer. I spend over five thousand dollars on two meetings and reading 10 emails, and they delivered... nothing after a month, claiming they needed more time. In over a month, they failed to inform me that the contractor was already broke and had other lawsuits against him. I found this out for free on line. I don't know what I paid five thousand dollars for, I had to get another lawyer to handle by special court lawsuit negotiations and answer the contractor's small counterclaim. Big mistake.
