I hired him thinking he would fight for my rights but instead he delayed my court dates, made me waste paid work days by not relaying information on my updated dates on time, and was insistent on asking for the payments for his overpriced services which I paid despite him showing zero interest in tal...king about the case or my experience besides the super promising initial call. During court, he did everything in his power to pressure me into pleading guilty for something that I was wrongly arrested for. Said that the judge would always take the polices word over mine, I asked about body cams and he said none of the multiple police at the scene had their body cams on, this happening after I pressured him to ask about them from the beginning, which he didn’t. He only told me no body cams on the day of court after already trying to convince me to not take it to trial. He may have been lying about it but since it was my first court experience I took his word. At the end the day, the coward didn’t care about me or my case. I would of got the same charge with a public defendant. He was comfortable with me accepting the original fine I would of got but I challenged him and asked “what did I hire you for” so he attempted and succeeded on reducing the price of the fine; which is mind-boggling to me because he had no intentions to do so until I told him that I researched what I would of got with a public defendant and it was the same thing! Except I had to pay a few thousands more for a useless lawyer who I thought would fight for me and desperately pressured me into giving up my rights and basically saying that I lost. Horrible first court experience and this guy gets no respect from me for taking advantage of my inexperience throughout the whole process. Do yourself a favor and hire someone who actually wants to help you.
