I didn’t take the traditional path to becoming a lawyer.

Before entering the legal profession, I spent over 30 years practicing veterinary medicine and became a board-certified specialist in veterinary internal medicine. Now, as a New Jersey attorney, I bring those decades of medical training, clinical judgment, client relationships, and problem-solving into my legal practice.

That background is especially powerful in animal law. I handle veterinary malpractice, dog bites, pet custody and ownership disputes, dangerous-dog matters, and other cases where animals and the law collide. I don’t have to learn the medicine from the medical record - I understand what happened, what should have happened, and why it matters.  I can also serve as an expert witness and provide Affidavits of Merit for other attorneys and self-represented litigants.

I believe clients deserve a lawyer who will actually listen to them, tell them what they need to know, and stay personally engaged in their case.

My hobbies are spending time with my animal children, my human children, going to live music events, and KNITTING!  I can't wait to meet you!  How can I help??
