I hired Nick to represent me in my custody/seperation case. Nick was nice at first. He did all what was necessary at the beginning like a lawyer is supposed to. Towards the middle and end as my retainer was running down his attitude changed drastically, it was as he stopped caring what was going on w...ith what was happening. I was honest about everything from the beginning so he new what to expect. During the trial he was not prepared at all with back history or questions for the opposing side. He basically let them walk all over me and had to ask me if there's anything he could ask or add to his cross examinations. Once the case was finalized and I received my paper work there were dates and testimonies that did not match what was said while on the stand, everything was reworded against what was actually said by both sides. So I called him to ask him about this and what I needed to do about it? He said and I quote "It looks like it is what it is and the case is over there's nothing I can do unless your willing to give me another $3000.00 retainer to appeal it and I'm not sure I want to continue this case". I was very displeased with his work all in general and decided not to pay the retainer and hire another lawyer from another firm.
