Naoyo Mori

Naoyo Mori is a VA accredited attorney at Berry Law representing veterans and their families in disability benefits claims and appeals. She brings a rare combination of legal training and advanced scientific expertise to complex medical and exposure related cases.

Before practicing law, Ms. Mori served as a Lead Epidemiologist at the United States Department of Energy Hanford Site, where she focused on occupational health and chemical exposure analysis. She has taught graduate level public health, epidemiology, and biostatistics at Walden University and the University of Wisconsin Milwaukee, and has served as a Cooperative Researcher at Juntendo University College of Medicine. She has participated in grant supported research in occupational health, cardiovascular epidemiology, and population health and is the author or co author of more than 20 peer reviewed publications and more than 90 professional presentations.

Ms. Mori earned her Juris Doctor from the University of the District of Columbia David A. Clarke School of Law and holds a Master of Library and Information Studies from The University of Alabama, a PhD in Medical Science from the University of Tokyo, and a Master of Science in Environmental and Occupational Health from California State University Northridge. She is licensed to practice law in Washington, DC and Maryland.
