Frank A. Piocos

Mr Piocos was hired by me from another state to help me fight a very easy false restraining order filed against me in a case of Parental Alienation where an interstate temp restraining order was filed by my ex to complicate the custody process of my son. I asked Mr. Piocos for a show cause hearing bu...t he felt it was better to go after lack of jurisdiction since I did not live in Montana. I lost this motion and it delayed the case a good 6 months. I finally had to dismiss him and decided to file and fight pro se and asked for my own show cause hearing. I won the hearing and my children were removed from the TRO. This should have been handled this way from the beginning. Mr. Piocos was frequently unreachable by phone or email and was unprepared the day of court. He mishandled money I had sent him to pay for transcript costs and kept the money for himself so I had to pay twice for the transcript. I never once saw a billing statement or what he had done in my case. I definitely do not recommend using Mr. Piocos as an attorney if you want to win your case. I am still contemplating filing a bar complaint.
