Diana E Griffin

Diana Griffin, Associate and Program Fellow of Rutgers Law Associates Fellowship Program just won for me very complicated and challenging divorce case after 3+ years of struggle. I signed in May 2014 under duress due to my severely impaired by divorce mental and emotional state a settlement agreement..., where waived all my rights to get an alimony from my ex-wife, I was entitled to due to substantial differences of our incomes. Later in last day on November 2014, I signed without even looking, the acknowledgment of service, but even more importantly, the time waiver giving away my rights to challenge initial signature, not being aware what I was doing. I hired Rutgers Law School to represent me in May 2016 after unsuccessful attempt with my previous attorney. Diana inherited the ongoing case in January 2017. The motion first denied in February 2017. But Diana kept fighting for me and filed a Motion of Reconsideration. In May 22nd hearing the same judge found her Motion very credential and suggested to settle the matter between me and my ex-wife before going to trial. Diana was able defeat very qualified and experienced lawyer of my ex-wife. Ms. Griffin also helped me tremendously to negotiate very good alimony terms. In addition to her great talent as a lawyer she possessed a great negotiating skills. Lastly, Diana has a great personality and during our 6 months interaction has become a good friend of my, despite our age difference, when I could be her own father.
