Michelle Lynn Somerville

Attorneys annoy the hell out of me, but she didn't, and that's saying something. Consulting with Michelle on some proposed contracts, I found that she anticipated every problem and prepared us for potential problems that I had not even thought of. She was sharp, but with an eye towards all things ...catastrophic (kinda creepy, but useful). If it could happen, she was going to help us figure out how to solve it before it did. She did more than review the contracts proposed by our future business partners, she just started talking and when she finished, we had ideas and cautionary tales for every part of our business. I don't know who wrote that first review, but there's no way it was the same lady I worked with. The Michelle Somerville that I know is more like a teacher than a shyster lawyer. Greatest part: she only charged us for her time when she was in the office during set appointment. No bills for phone calls, and she spent all sorts of time with us during lunch meetings: Never saw a single charge for it. And, she paid for lunch. If she had time for new clients, she would have a bunch from me. Too bad she's on sebattical.
