Michelle L. Gorman

MICHELLE L. GORMAN is a senior associate of Pietragallo Gordon Alfano Bosick & Raspanti, LLP. She is a member of the Litigation Practice Group, the Employment & Labor Practice Group, and the Construction Practice Consortium.

Ms. Gorman’s practice is focused in the areas of insurance defense litigation, products liability and employer liability. Ms. Gorman has represented a number of employers, manufacturers and premise owners in general liability matters. She has successfully represented a variety of clients in mediations, extended pretrial negotiations, in trial, and in federal and state proceedings. Ms. Gorman is currently representing several contractors on a wide variety of issues, including workmanship, mechanics liens and general negligence.

Representative matters of Ms. Gorman's practice include:

• Initiating and defending insurance coverage and bad faith litigation in state and federal Courts.
• Representation of hotels and casinos in a variety of premises liability matters in West Virginia.
• Representation of product manufacturers and distributors in products liability litigation in Ohio and West Virginia.
• Representation of professionals and businesses in commercial litigation matters and business disputes in Ohio and West Virginia.
• Representation of businesses in administrative matters in Ohio and West Virginia.
• Representation of automobile manufacturers in lemon law litigation in Ohio and West Virginia.

Ms. Gorman is a member of the Defense Research Institute, the West Virginia Self Insurance Association and the Ohio, West Virginia and Jefferson County Bar Associations.

Ms. Gorman currently serves on the Board of Advisors for the Franciscan University of Steubenville, on the Executive Committee for the Jefferson County Bar Association, and is a member of the Trinity Hospital Heather Twig.
