I highly recommend you find a different attorney. I hired Mr. Orsak to handle a child custody case, and I wish I had not. First, I believe his billing practices were highly unethical. For example, he billed for time we met before I ever engaged him without letting me know he was billing, including... calls merely to ask about pricing. He even billed work he had not yet performed but anticipated doing. Second, he performed work I specifically told him not to do, and then billed me for it. Third, over the course of the representation, I constantly had to remind him of key details of my case, including what was requested in discovery and what was not. Knowing what I know now, I would be afraid to trust him with my case. There are many fantastic attorneys in Richmond. Mike Orsak is not one of them. Avoid completely.
