Michael J. Giangrieco is Special Counsel at Hinman, Howard & Kattell, LLP in our Montrose, Pennsylvania office. He is a member of the Wills, Trusts & Estates, Energy and Environmental Law, Commercial and Residential Real Estate, Litigation, and Criminal Defense Practice Groups.
Mr. Giangrieco’s practice includes wills and estate administration; oil, gas and mineral leasing and conveyancing; real estate purchase and/or sale, and mortgage refinancing; as well as boundary disputes and property litigation. He also represents clients in litigation matters and provides criminal defense, including DUI representation.
Prior to joining the firm, Mr. Giangrieco founded the Law Office of Michael J. Giangrieco in 1984 and has practiced in Susquehanna County, Pennsylvania since 1982.
He is a member of the Pennsylvania Bar Association. Mr. Giangrieco previously served two terms as a Susquehanna County Commissioner and formerly served as Solicitor for Susquehanna County

Very disappointing experience with lawyer hired to handle oil and gas lease
The lawyer had brought up a number of issues concerning gas leases and didn't follow up on any of them. He later admitted that the gas company had never agreed to some of those.
