Melanie Ann Porter

Melanie represents employees in a number of employment issues, including wrongful termination, disability discrimination, sex discrimination, FMLA and CFRA leave violation actions and wage and hour cases. She has successfully litigated employment cases since 2008 with Stephen Danz & Associates and has received favorable results for her clients.

Melanie graduated from UCLA with a B.A. in Psychology. She received her J.D. from California Western School of Law in 2006, where she graduated cum laude in her health law concentration.  While at CWSL, Melanie served as President of both the Asian Pacific Law Student Association and Hawaiian Law Student Association, as well as Secretary and Chair of Community Relations for the Health Law Society and Co-Chair of the Social and Membership Committee for Phi Alpha Delta. During law school Melanie was also inducted into the Pro Bono Honors Society in 2004 for her work with Elder Law & Advocacy, where she helped assist indigent senior citizens with estate planning and landlord tenants issues.
