I retained Mr. Solomon for legal representation, he offered to do my case for a flat fee and assured a very favorable outcome. After nine months of continuances, talking to opposing counsel, and lot of false promises he attempted to get me to pay the equivalent of the same flat rate fee I initially p...rovided in full again or he wouldn't finish my case at all. His communication with his client was poor, made decisions in the case without consulting me, didn't file anything I instructed him to, often asking me to gather paperwork that never got used, and took offense if his decisions were questioned. In short, would not recommend this attorney, needs to be more organized, more assertive, and more experienced at the least. My case was later mediated, adjudicated, and handled by myself “pro se”. I was able to successfully receive everything I had asked Mr. Solomon to litigate for me as my attorney for which he either could not or would not I have no way to tell either way. But for a Pro Se litigant with no previous formal legal education I’d say that says enough. After almost a year of no movement in my cases through Mr. Solomon I was able to close the case within six months in a very adversarial contested case. I fully believe that Mr. Solomon took my money as I had hired him to do (2) cases simultaneously one in Cook County and the other in Will County with him accepting a flat rate fee that he designated for each individual case and with each case I ended up litigating myself and again came out with an extremely favorable outcome. After asking the court to withdraw from the cook county case I left a review on this site, and shortly thereafter he asked to withdraw from the Will County case citing he’d been slandered on social media by myself. Presumably by receiving a negative avvo review by myself and he kept many of the documents even after I requested that they be returned.....this should have been a walk in the park for ANY attorney!

I hired him & he was the worse. My case was dropped a few times for no show. He lied & told me it was a reinstatement fee when it wasn't. My case was stagnant, it wasn't moving . The judge was even disappointed in his professionalism. This man done so much wrong that I can write a book on it. But... the sad thing is he couldn't handle 1 case & 1 person but believe he can handle a multitude of cases & people as a state representative. No if you couldn't take care of me how can you service the public & their problems too. Do not hire him as a lawyer & Do Not Vote for him as a state representative. Yes, i received a judgment by default but I sued a multitude of people but he wouldn't get me judgments on the remaining people because I had to pay him, which I paid him a lot. He's not deserving of a star
