About Mayra
Biography
Mayra Cataldo received her Bachelors degree from NYU. While a sophomore at NYU, she interned for the Domestic Violence Bureau at the Kings County District Attorney’s Office, an experience which inspired her to pursue a career in public interest law.
In 2013 Ms. Cataldo served as a student advocate for the Youth Advocacy Clinic, where she represented victims of child abuse and neglect as well as special immigrant juveniles. During that time, she served as a Spanish interpreter and translator for the Hofstra Law Clinic. That summer, she served as a law clerk for the Administrative Trials Unit at the NYC Department of Education Office of Legal Services.
Ms. Cataldo worked as a law clerk for a family and matrimonial law firm during her last semester of law school, before ultimately graduating from the Maurice A. Deane School of Law at Hofstra University in May 2014. She is currently an Associate Attorney for the Law Office of Robert N. Martinez, PLLC.
