Ironically, Maureen came recommended to me from a friend who was previously in a divorce proceeding and Maureen was hired by her ex-husband. My friend said, "Don't use my attorney, use the one my ex-husband hired as she was more effective." In my case, Maureen was able to quickly eliminate unreasonab...le positions presented by opposing counsel to get negotiations back to a reasonable level which allowed both sides to more quickly reach an agreement. While there is no such thing a good divorce, I believe Maureen saved both sides a lot of legal fees by helping us to focus on the real issues.
