Clueless

Matt botched my divorce case, billed thousands of dollars and did no work. He let opposing counsel draft the divorce paperwork and was either too scared to get the job done or just didn't care. Awful.

He’ll sue if you review him

Don’t bother to review this lawyer. He’ll just threaten to sue if you give him a review that he doesn’t agree or like.

Best choice

I was very pleased with the way Mr. Widemen handled my case. There were many times that I did not understand somethings and he took the time to help me by explaining until I fully understood. His patience goes behind measure. Even in flustered moments he helped me keep my cool. Together we kept our e...yes on the prize and need up very successful. Matthew Wideman

Mr. Wideman represented me well for the first 13 months of my case. In his last 60 days of service before leaving the company early in July, he failed to complete a Form 14 (child support) and also did not submit a Parenting Plan as he was supposed to do. The lack of a correct Form 14 resulted in at... least a $45 a month additional in child support not owed. Opposing counsel filed a motion to enforce the agreement, both parties made on the record after 60 days of no response or work product from Mr. Wideman. As such opposing counsel's Form 14 and Parenting Plan were entered in judgement despite them not conforming to the agreement already on the record verbally. He has a good personality and I believe is genuinely a nice person but lacks in communication, organization and dependability. His inexperience is evident in these areas. I would not recommend Mr. Wideman.

Worry Free

Matt kept me informed of the entire divorce process and encouraged me not to worry about it. He assured me that he would take care of it and he did as he said. It was a difficult time for me and he took a lot of the stress off by being so straight forward and prompt. I really appreciated his prof...essional approach and results.
