I truly believe that no one should be marginalized or victimized because of their sex or gender.  I represent people who are harassed or discriminated against because of their sex, their gender, or their LGBT status. I am passionate about representing victims of sexual harassment, sexual assault, and gender-based discrimination.  I seek to provide clients with quality legal advice while fostering their sense of comfort, confidence, and empowerment throughout the legal process.

In the area of employment law, I help people who have faced sexual harassment, gender discrimination, workplace discrimination, or workplace retaliation. I help employees sue for wrongful termination and bring claims for related workplace violations. I also help employees fight for their right to be paid or to recover unemployment benefits.  I can also help employers obtain workplace violence restraining orders.

In other areas of law, I help clients who are being stalked, harassed, or threatened to pursue civil harassment restraining orders. I also help victims of sexual assault to bring civil lawsuits against their attackers or to vindicate their Title IX rights in schools and universities. I can also help students who have been harassed or discriminated against based on their sex, their gender, or their LGBT status in defending their rights against schools, school districts, and universities.

In addition to advocating for victims of sexual assault, sexual harassment, sex discrimination or gender discrimination, my firm also practices animal law. We fight to advance the rights and interests of animals and their guardians. Our areas of practice in this field include vet malpractice, pet trusts, some personal injury cases, and representation regarding dangerous dog and/or vicious dog hearings and declarations.
