We have known Lydia for more than 10 years and had know that she practices Family Law. So when it came time for my relative to consult an attorney regarding domestic adoption we knew Lydia would be our "go to." She walked us through the court processes and was able to answer all of our questions re...garding the adoption process. Based on Lydia's quick response to our emails and phone calls, patience, and professionalism we have already recommended her to others we know that are looking down the road to adoption. I met Lydia at a non-profit fundraiser for adoptions in April 2016. I was amazed at not only her knowledge of the adoption process but at her enthusiasm for the child and the adoptive parents as well. Several attendees at my table also remarked at how Lydia put them at ease by explaining the adopti...on process and how she worked closely with them each step of the way. Clearly, Lydia is an extraordinary advocate for the adopted, their parents and guardians as well as the adoption process. Lydia was very sensitive to our needs in regards to the adoption process of my daughter. She would always ask for permission to use and all materials deemed sensitive and or confidential. Lydia made sure that my wife and I had a full understanding of the process both judicially and socially and alw...ays respected our response.

I was referred to The Center for Law and social work by a clerk from the court house. My wife and I were trying to adopt her sister's baby. We initially consulted with another attorney but eventually wqs transferred to Lydia. She is awesome. We had so many questions and concerns, but she made us feel... confident with our case and she put our minds at ease. We ran into a few problems, but she gave us reassurance and comfort. I over loaded her with questions and concerns via text and phone calls. She never once seemed upset or irritated with my questions or me in general. She is a very sweet and compassionate person in general. She helped in making our family complete with our adoption case and for that I am forever grateful. I don't recall the name of the attorney I was originally assigned to but Im glad we were passed to Lydia. If i ever need an attorney for a family or adoption case I'm definitely giving her a call.

Lydia Karjaka was our adoption attorney, she helped make our dreams come true with our son Jaxson Carter Jurich. Lydia worked very hard and went above and beyond to meet our needs, she was truly amazing words cannot describe how much we appreciate everything she did for us. I still to this day text h...er pictures of our lil man and she loves receiving them. I would highly recommend Lydia, she works hard and the relationship we had and still have is just amazing.
