I hired and paid $2500 to this attorney to file my case to the court. After several months, he created a draft but didn’t file. He said he found a new job and needed to close down his business. He only offered to refund $200 back to me and as a result, I lost $2300 because he took my money for doing ...nothing. The case was not even filed to the court. If he didn’t want to file my case, he needs to at least refund the full amount back to me. I had no problem hiring a new attorney. I did hire a new attorney to file my case. Of course, there was an extra burden for hiring a new attorney. In conclusion, this attorney scammed me $2300. I signed a contract requiring him to file my case to the court and also paid him a $2500 check but nothing was filed and only $200 was refunded.
