About Lorraine
Biography
Lorraine was born in Kentucky and grew up in East Tennessee, but spent summers with her father in Newport News, Virginia. She attended law school at the University of Memphis, graduating in 1999. After law school, she moved to Newport News, Virginia to work for an Administrative Law Judge who heard Longshore and Harbor Workers’ Compensation Act claims. Later, her husband’s job brought her to Richmond, Virginia.
She has represented both claimants and employers, having worked at Rutter Mills in Norfolk, Virginia, and Midkiff, Muncie, and Ross in Richmond. Lorraine prefers representing the injured worker because the injured worker is less knowledgeable about the workers compensation system and needs more help than the insurance companies who have lawyers on call for any questions.
When not working, Lorraine enjoys reading mystery novels, exploring Richmond’s many restaurants, and spending time with her husband and pets.
