OUTCOME: All Charges Dismissed and arrest expunged

JW was charged with Armed Robbery, Aggravated Assault with a Deadly Weapon, Possession of a Firearm During the Commission of a Felony, and Burglary in a home invasion case. JW was facing a mandatory m ... inimum prison sentence of 15 years to life and the possibility of the death penalty. We were able to show that JW had been framed by an old flame who was bitter about their breakup. After tough investigation and negotiation, including digging up the out-of state criminal convictions of the accuser, the State elected to dismiss all charges against JW and allow JW's arrest record to be expunged.

RH was charged in two separate cases with felony drug possession charges which could have resulted in a combined 30 year sentence as well as several misdemeanors. RH pled to 7 years probation concurre ... nt on both cases under the First Offender Act which will result in the dismissal of his felonies after successful completion of his sentence and nolo pleas on the misdemeanors .

DP was arrested on a Violation of Probation (VOP) warrant and held in jail almost 50 days without a hearing prior to asking for my help. The State was asking to revoke the balance of probation (over 6 ... years) and send him to prison for that time. After much investigation and argument, I was able to show that the allegation of violations were not accurate and DP was immediately released and placed on non-reporting probation.
