He was married with a U.S citizen and came to live in America with his wife. They both had two kids together but they divorced before he came a permanent resident. Now, when the time came to apply for his 10 years green card, we needed to hire a lawyer. So we decided to hire Getson & Schatz (Lindsay Hanson handled the case) based on our friends recommended to us. We lived so far away from her office so we never actually saw the attorney or talked in person. We only deal with her on the phone or email. Each time, we sent her an email or called we received a quickly respond. At the beginning, she laid out the plan what she was going to do and what documents and steps that we needed to prepare.
