I advise law firms on AI strategy — from helping attorneys build their AI visibility to evaluating and implementing AI platforms that actually work for practicing lawyers.

I launched this work because I spent 25 years inside law firms and know what trial lawyers need before they'll trust a new tool. I've seen firms spend heavily on the wrong technology and watched senior attorneys disengage when no one bothered to translate the pitch into courtroom terms. My job is to bridge that gap.

My technology background runs deep. Early in my career, I co-founded one of the first law firm technology practice groups in Maine, was appointed by the Governor to the state's Year 2000 Task Force, served on the Governor's task group on Internet Policy, and sat on the founding board of INFOME — the state's portal for electronic government services.

I also co-chaired the Litigation Department at Bernstein Shur and served as Head of Marketing, which is where I learned that even great lawyers need to be found. That experience shapes everything I do now.

Through Partners in Professional Development, which I founded, I developed and ran the first national conference series on business development for women attorneys, and I've remained a frequent national presenter on law firm strategy, education, and growth.

Today I publish The AI-Ready Firm, a newsletter on AI for practicing lawyers, and I work directly with law firms that want to move on AI without getting it wrong.
