Larry S Schwartz

I've been practicing business law in Colorado for more than 30 years.  I began my career at a major Denver law firm where I was a partner in the business department.  After that, I served as chief in-house counsel for companies ranging in size from five to five hundred people.  I was also a co-founder, owner and officer of a technology company which gave me first hand experience managing a business.  For the past six years, I have been in private practice working with small and mid-sized business clients.

My focus is on problem solving and finding practical solutions.  I understand that business people are not interested in fighting over esoteric or trivial legal issues at the expense of completing a business transaction.  I also understand that a business person does not want to expend legal fees contesting unimportant points.  In my more than 20 years of working for companies as in-house counsel, I've developed a skill for devising solutions that protect a client's legal interests while also achieving its business objectives.

My 20 years as in-house counsel has also exposed me to a broad range of legal matters that a business is likely to encounter.  I can help clients identify and address a wide variety of legal concerns.
