Ms. Long was without a doubt the most stressful part of the experience of my divorce. She took my money then proceeded to ignore me for a month. When I finally threatened to fire her she filed the paperwork I had supplied then proceeded to ignore me again. She ignored me for so long that my ex and I... decided to muddle through on our own. Then when I did fire her she quickly sent me a mostly cut and paste divorce settlement agreement that was largely incorrect (with the word DRAFT all over it so i couldn't file it) and billed me more than my remaining retainer amount. Save your money and go with someone else.

I retained Kristin Long to assist with obtaining a restraining order against a family member after years of harassment, verbal abuse, and physical confrontations. Through her continued efforts over a 4 year period, the restraining order was made permanent in 2019. Kristin's guidance was clear an...d effective. She kindly helped us separate our emotions and personal issues from the task of putting together an effective strategy to win the judgement. At trial, Kristin brought to court 100s of documents including testimonies, and pertinent background information, in addition to securing witnesses critical to presenting and winning our case. We went to trial twice and won twice. Kristin at all times had the utmost respect and consideration for the emotional aspects, and difficulties for myself and family during the process.
