Kha Q Dang

Kha Dang is a corporate finance and securities lawyer focused on the corporate and transactional needs of high growth technology companies.  Kha was formerly a Partner at Perkins Coie LLP, an AmLaw 50 law firm, and a member of the Emerging Companies and Venture Capital practice group.  Kha's practice included public and private offerings, venture capital and angel financing, mergers and acquisitions, corporate governance, formation and founders and executive issues.  Kha has been advising startups and high growth companies since 1999, from both the outside law firm and as in-house general counsel.  Kha currently serves as General Counsel at Drift Marketplace, Inc., and outside corporate counsel for a number of additional companies.  Kha serves as a key advisor to his clients on fundraising and strategic transactions, bringing a hands-on, practical and business-oriented approach to legal services.  Kha's clients include companies and investors in power and energy, life sciences, software/internet, cloud services, big data, machine learning and artificial intelligence.  Kha is a frequent speaker on legal topics relevant to high growth technology companies and has been listed in "Best Lawyers in America" and in Washington Law & Politics, as a “Rising Star of Washington Law".  Kha served as chair of Perkins Coie's Seattle Diversity Committee and Perkins Coie's Seattle Community Service Committee and on the Hiring Committee.  Kha is the author of "Securities Laws issues in Social Media" in the Social Media Law deskbook.  Kha serves on the Board of Directors of the Washington Technology Industry Association.
