Biography
A Philadelphia native, I graduated from the Temple University James E. Beasley School of Law where I served on the staff of the Temple Political and Civil Rights Law Review. I earned my B.A. and M.S.Ed. together at the University of Pennsylvania.
I served as a Mental Health Rights Attorney at the Nevada Disability Law and Advocacy Center, where I co-founded a Blue Ribbon Panel on mentally ill prisoner re-entry with the Chief Justice of the Nevada Supreme Court.
I am admitted to practice law in Pennsylvania and Nevada, the United States District Courts for the Eastern District of Pennsylvania and the District of Nevada, and the United States Court of Appeals for the Third Circuit. I live in South Philadelphia with my five year-old daughter, a wiener dog, a large friendly old dog, and a slightly neurotic kitten.
