Kelly Ann Hobbs

Ms. Hobbs was my initial attorney for my divorce case. I emailed her with a very specific question to which she replied, "judges don't care about XXX." Based on this, I proceeded forward, and then lost my case for that exact issue! She showed up to a pre-trial motion completely unprepared, which s...he acknowledge after the hearing. I fired her, and hired a new attorney who thought surely I had misunderstood what Ms. Hobbs had told me about "the issue." When I showed her the email from Ms. Hobbs, my new attorney was shocked. She couldn't believe Ms. Hobbs would say a judge wouldn't care about a law that is on the books. Despite my new attorney's best efforts, the damage had already been done, costing me tens of thousands of dollars.
