Kelly Fiege

Kelly M. Dougherty recently joined Ceridian as Compliance Counsel handling employment law, HR and benefits matters. 

Prior to Ceridian, Kelly worked Allianz Life as a Principal Product Contracting Analyst. In this role, Kelly lead various product drafting initiatives for the company's life insurance, fixed annuity, and variable annuity products.  Kelly worked with pricing actuaries to write contract language that reflected the intent of how various products worked. She also lead cross-departmental review sessions to analyze and solve company-wide considerations for the implementation and sale of new products. Kelly also worked with various state regulators to respond to objections and get products approved for sale in the most favorable manner for Allianz. In addition, Kelly had various opportunities to research reinsurance matters and negotiate reinsurance treaties with third parties. 

Prior to working at Allianz, Kelly represented clients in business, commercial litigation, and employment law matters. She also worked in entertainment and copyright law. Kelly enjoyed counseling clients through all aspects of business and employment disputes. She has experience in commercial litigation, non-compete, minority shareholder, employment and severance agreement, sales representative, and drug and alcohol testing in the workplace matters. 

Prior to law school, Kelly studied in Nashville, Tennessee, where she completed a BBA in Music Business and Sound Engineering. She worked for Word Entertainment in the Production Department and found she had an interest in music and copyright law, which started her path to becoming an attorney.
