We hired Kathy about three years ago when we were buying our first home. We were surprised at how much work was required to actually buy a house. From getting a mortgage, to looking for the house, doing inspections etc. It really was a stressful time for us. We worked with many individuals during tha...t process and I have to say Kathy was by far the most professional and thorough of all the people we had to deal with. Not only did she do what was required of her as an attorney, but she also made sure other aspects of the transaction were done and ready, so that there would be no surprises when the time came to close. Also, during the actual closing she was the only person that treated the closing, not as a simple formality but took the time to actually explain a lot of the documents and nuances to us. I know a lot of attorneys don't do that because they have been to thousands of closings before and they want to get everything done and leave as quickly as possible.
