Twice in Two Years

I found Karen accidentally over 2 years ago when I applied for unemployment compensation and was denied benefits. I had given 2 months notice to my current employer, but he terminated me immediately. Then, he didn’t give me my last paycheck because of travel expenses he thought I owed. When I tent...atively called Schuck Law regarding unemployment, the receptionist, Elizabeth, asked if I’d received my last paycheck. After hesitating, I admitted that I hadn’t. She connected me with Karen, who carefully, compassionately, and clearly explained labor law and employer penalties. I was floored that even though I wasn’t eligible for unemployment, there was a strong case for withholding pay. I needed zero dollars of my own for Karen to bring the case. She won over $5,000 for me, plus coverage of all her own fees. Fast forward to 2020, low and behold, another employer failed to pay me until I begged! Too late, I already called my good friend, Karen! We settled for $3,175, plus Karen’s fees. Karen was so incredibly kind to me, and so patient with me. When I was anxious, stressed, scared, and basically flipping out because I wasn’t sure it wasn’t my own fault, she calmed me down, and assured me employers must pay their employees correctly and timely! Karen may become your new best friend!

Helpful and professional from start to finish

Karen immediately set herself apart from all the other attorneys I'd reached out to. She didn't make me pay just to find out if I had a case or not. And from that first call to the last, she always took the time to explain the process and the risks, and to make sure all my questions had been answered.... I never felt brushed aside or hurried. I relied heavily on her experience-based advice, and ended up with a good settlement. Would recommend her to ANYONE needing an employment lawyer.

Direct Honesty and Truthful Compassion

I have had the amazing gift of meeting and utilizing the skills of Ms. Moore. She wears her passion for her people and workers rights on her sleeve. She wants better working conditions for people under the law and when those conditions are tested, she steps in to try and right the wrong. I went thro...ugh a terrible ordeal with a large Corporation spanning several months. Both Karen A. Moore and David Shuck operate Schuck Law, LLC. I live in Washington and my issue was an Oregon employer. They are certified in both states and I met both of them, but in the scope of things, I fell into a few categories that Ms. Moore resonated with and that is where she offered her services of representation. She is amazing in action, and I found mostly the opposite when soliciting Attorneys or trying to get things in motion with my situation from others. If you are a worker who needs help when facing work place challenges, I recommend writing to Karen or Shuck Law, for a free consultation. I am very fortunate to have done so. I have always said that it takes just one person to change the world and this (my world) is where that phrase hits with representation from Ms. Moore.

Fabulous

Karen represented me in a wage issue with a previous employer. Excellent communication, thorough review of evidence provided her relating to the case, exceptional advocate, and always truthful and upfront. I could not be happier with the service that she provided in resolving the issues with my pri...or employer. Quite refreshing as compared to other experiences I have had with another lawyer recent at a different firm.

Class act for a class action.

We won the case and I got paid. I was asked to do unpaid training to get a job. They aggressively litigated and were professional to me throughout.
