Karen Lynn DeMarco

Karen was hired to aid in a divorce case. She seemed great when we met, but after hiring, things went downhill quickly. She was terrible at follow up. A month, sometimes longer, would pass without an update on the case. I had to call in or email to get an update and I was charged a hefty fee for tryi...ng to get followup on my case. I wouldn't of had to call or email for an update had she been doing it. They were quick to advise they needed more money to do "more work" though! She didn't show up at the one appointment and had to use a replacement lawyer due to another client she was dealing with. That was found out last minute and was very upsetting. I don't feel she was had my best interest in mind and I am upset with the outcome. I would never recommend this lawyer or law office after the poor customer service, disorganization, and $$$$ they charge . The only thing they were good at is sending invoices for more money.

Karen kept me focused on what was needed to address all of the many factors the court looks at in a custody relocation case. When we walked into court, we were able to confidently display our evidence to the judge and back it up. I was looking to relocate hundreds of miles away to buy a business so I... could retire from a well paying job for a second career. With her direction, we won the case and I could not be more pleased with the outcome. She helped to move the hearing date up when it was reacheduled our for several months so the opportunity would not disappear and was able to arrange a pre-trial hearing in judges chambers that helped to set the tone of what the judge was expecting.

My divorce had mostly gone through with another attorney but when he left the firm, I went with Karen to finish things up and deal with some other issues after things were finalized. She was fantastic, and I wish I had her the entire time! She's on her client's side 100% and is the perfect amount of ...aggressive when necessary, which yields results and is something you definitely want in an attorney. She also responds quickly and takes immediate action, which I very much appreciated. I enjoyed working with Karen and would definitely recommend her!

Karen was courteous, prompt and non judgmental during one of the most stressful times of my life. She listened to my case attentively when other local attorney's were quick to pass judgement. Having someone file a frivolous PFA against you can drain the life out of you and cause considerable stress.... However, Karen and her associates were compassionate and answered all my questions. In the courtroom Karen was a true professional and cited appropriate sections of Pennsylvania law that helped considerably to achieve a positive outcome for my situation. All in all I am satisfied with the work Karen put into my case and the end result. In Pennsylvania, Protection from Abuse laws are stacked against the defendant and favor the plaintiff. These Protection from Abuse orders are far to easy to obtain and can ruin a person's life if the person filing is spiteful towards the defendant. Karen reviewed all of my evidence and interviewed all of my witnesses. With all of the work put into my case Karen was able achieve an outcome that I am able to live with. I don't think any other attorney could have helped me the way she did. I hope I never have to use a lawyer again but if I do Karen is the first person I will call.
