Experienced attorney representing clients for over 20 years, including domestic relations, divorce, child custody, personal injury cases and civil litigation on a diverse range of subject matters, including complex commercial disputes, premise liability, catastrophic accidents, product liability, torts, divorce, child custody and domestic violence matters. 

I volunteer my legal services for victims of domestic violence in domestic relations matters and to the Family & Probate Court as the lawyer of the day providing legal advice to the general public on family law and probate matters.

I have obtained successful outcomes on behalf of my clients in matters before the U.S. District Court (MA), the Massachusetts Appeals Court, the Massachusetts Superior Courts, the Massachusetts Probate and Family Courts and the state District Courts, and through ADR.

Prior to joining the Leggett Law Firm, LLC, I worked for over 11 years at a major Boston insurance defense law firm.  In most civil litigation matters, a defendant, such as an operator of a motor vehicle, a product manufacturer or lessor, or a property owner, is provided legal counsel through his/its insurance company.  Working extensively with insurance companies and self-insured companies has provided me with the unique insight of their claims and litigation procedures, and how to obtain the best possible results for my clients.

I also have an extensive background in engineering technology, which is greatly advantageous to claims related to product liability and construction site accidents, as such claims often involve technical and manufacturing issues, which many attorneys are not adept at.

I am a member of the Plymouth County Bar Association, Norfolk County Bar Association, LQBTQ Bar Association of Massachusetts, and the Women's Bar Association.
